Fees & Funding
The Early Years Funding (EYF) Scheme currently offers up to 15 hours of free education every week, for 38 weeks a year, to all three and four year olds, from the term after which they become 3 years old.
If your child is eligible for extended hours then you can claim the additional 15 hours at Whitsers (30 hours in total).
Some two year old children are also eligible for funding, called 'Two Year Old Funding' or 'Funded twos' which we also accept at Whitsers.
Fees for children up to and including the term in which they turn 3 years old, are £5 per hour (£15.00 per morning or afternoon session).
Fees for older children (from the term after they turn 3), for any hours in addition to those claimed under the government Early Years Funding scheme, are also £5.00 per hour (£15.00 per session).
Ad hoc sessions are £16.50 per session (£5.50 per hour).
Lunch club for pre-school children is £5.
We do ask all parents to contribute a small, but optional, snack donation of £2.50 per child per half term. This is to help us cover the cost of providing a healthy and varied snack at each session.
We charge a £30 admin fee when joining Whitsers, which may be waived for those only using funded hours.
We accept childcare vouchers and Tax Free Childcare Payments.
Please download the prospectus for further information (including for information regarding children who qualify under the Funded 2s scheme).
We really recommend Whitsers, both of our daughters (who give special mention to the stories, mud kitchen and ride-in cars) have spent many happy hours here.
The excellent staff are always very helpful and work hard to ensure there is a creative and varied environment. We love reading the learning record to see snippets of the exciting things that have happened
